Patrick: Take 2!

This semester, I have resolved to devote a chunk of time each week to my passion, my art- my photography. My floormate Patrick was gracious enough to model for me for a quick photo sesh yesterday afternoon, even though the poor kid was feeling a tad under the weather. Can't tell, can ya? 

I started off with some model-type shots, and ended with some awesome headshots!

Dabbling in Jewelry!

When I was younger, I spent my free time beading. I beaded dozens of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. One christmas, Santa brought me an entire beading toolkit, complete with wire, pliers, and special beads. This christmas break, I decided to whip out the old tools and create some jewelry! My all-time dream is to open a photo gallery/ jewelry store where I can sell both my images and my jewelry creations- and operate my photo business!

Here are the earrings I made for my long-time friend Erin, whom I consider a sister:

And here are the earrings I made for my mom. They match a bracelet I made her a few years ago.

Danny Wirick: Live at Tommy's Place!

You may recognize Danny from my USC Thornton School of Music Popular Music Showcase Performace pictures. Danny is a freshman Popular Music major at USC and a great friend of mine. Over parent's weekend in October, Danny had his own show on campus at Tommy's Place. His band is made up of mostly of Popular Music majors, with two of his gospel choir friends as backup vocalists, and even me as a guest tambourine player! hehe :-) 

Included in the show was guest vocalist Liliana De Los Reyes, Pianist Nolan Frank, Drummer Dan Vanchieri, Bassist Brian Jones, Guitarists Devon Eisenbarger and Anna Schulze, and backup vocalists Courtnie Henson and Becca Berry. All of these musicians are INSANELY talented!

It's Performance Time!

I LOVE USC! I've made some awesome friends, some of which are in USC Thornton School of Music's Popular Music Program. As part of their performance class, they had 2 performances this semester as a midterm and a final- how cool is that? I attended and photographed both events- check out these amazingly talented musicians pursuing their passions as they rock out onstage!

USC Headshots!

I've had the pleasure of photographing headshots for a few amazing people while I've been at USC!

My floormate and close friend Patrick is a theatre major and aspiring actor in Los Angeles. He needed last-minute headshots for a submission, so I met him between classes for a quick 10 minute headshot shoot! It was the most spontaneous, quick shoot I've ever done, but I'm so pleased with the results! Check out some shots below:
