US Naval Academy Plebe Summer- The Hudsons!

Kylie Nic Photography takes on I-Day at the Naval Academy!

My good friend and classmate Chris was inducted into the Naval Academy Class of 2016 this summer. I stopped by on I-Day to send him off, and ended up with his family's camera, slipping easily into photographer mode. I unintentionally pulled a "Kylie Nic" and ended up with this portrait of him! I love it and couldn't be prouder of you, Chris!

The Hudson Family is such a delight. Here's the big happy clan on the big day. Chris has wanted to go to the Academy ever since he was in second grade. His father is a class of 1981 graduate- the same as my father!

I felt to blessed to be welcomed into the Hudson family's important day. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Hudson, Christine and Elizabeth for welcoming me and making me feel like a part of the family! Your camera enjoyed it too :-)

David Mandell's Headshots/ Modeling Shots

I am always super excited when a friend asks me to take pictures for them. David has been telling me he wanted me to take his headshots for months, ever since I came into Angus's USC Theatre class to announce my USC student headshot deal (visit my website or email me for details!).

After months of "one day, one day", that day finally came! I got a definite inquiry from him and we had two wonderful photo sessions to capture some awesome headshots and body shots! I whipped out my new reflector (notice the awesome catch light in the headshots) and made some of my FAVORITE headshots ever!

David is a theatre major at USC and will be working at Disneyland this summer- he has a bright future ahead of him. Take a look at some of our favorite shots below!
